SEO Sergeant Package

Search Engine Optimization is quite a broad topic, and there is quite a lot of work that goes into doing it.
In order for your website to rank with Google, you need a few things.
Firstly, Google should know about your website, and that is done through the Google Search Console.
Secondly, you need to inform Google of what exactly it is that your business does, and that is done through creating pages in your website that Google’s robots can crawl. This should be done in a hierarchical structure, and, a the more pages you have, the better.
Our Full Assault Package caters for this, and the work that goes into this.
This is a guide to what we consistently do for your website, in order to ensure that you rank on Google.

Step 1: Create Pages that match your business

Google’s bots will read or crawl your website to see what exactly it is that you do. It then learns who your business is, and creates and index of you and the pages on your website. As people click on these pages and interact with your website, your rank, or what Google thinks of your website, increases.
The higher your website ranks, the higher up it is in Google search results.
In order for your website to have a high ranking, takes a lot of consistent and continuous attention.

Step 2: Ensure All Open Graph Tags Are Implemented

Open Graph tags are meta tags that control how your content is displayed when shared on social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. They enhance the appearance of shared links by specifying elements like the title, description, and image.

Importance for SEO: While Open Graph tags don’t directly impact search rankings, they improve click-through rates (CTR) and engagement when your content is shared on social platforms. A well-formatted link encourages more clicks, which can drive traffic to your site.

Step 3: Ensure All Structured Data (Schema) Are Implemented

Schemas, or structured data, are pieces of code that help search engines understand the meaning of the content on your website. This extra layer of information makes it easier for search engines like Google to organize and present your site in a more detailed way. A key benefit of using structured data is the potential for rich results, which are enhanced search listings that show more than just the basic title and description. Rich results can include additional information like images, ratings, or even extra links, making your site stand out and attract more attention in search results. By using schema correctly, you increase the chances of your site appearing with these enhanced listings, improving visibility and user engagement.

Step 4: Meta Name Robots

Some WordPress themes may automatically insert the meta name="robots" tag with unwanted attributes, such as max-image-preview:large. According to this WordPress Core article, you can run a code snippet in the Code Snippets plugin to remove or modify this tag. To ensure proper SEO, use Meta Tag Manager to add the desired properties (e.g., index, nofollow, max-image-preview:large). Managing the robots tag is crucial for search engine visibility and user experience.
